Who is responsible
HONGKONG JATIZO I&E CO., LIMITED is responsible for collecting and using personal information in JATIZO's overseas business contact activities (the data controller). James Shen manages these records and is your business and privacy contact at [email protected].
Correspondence address: Room 2612, No. 198 Lushan Road, Jianye District, Nanjing, China. This is a correspondence address, not the Hong Kong company's registered office.
Our mainland China company coordinates production through partner factories in mainland China; JATIZO LLC handles our US business. These activities do not automatically involve access to overseas contact records or sharing them with factories.
Information, sources and purposes
We use professional names, roles, companies, work email addresses, available work-location or time-zone information, research sources and business correspondence. We use this information to assess business relevance, check contact details, prepare and conduct relevant womenswear development and production discussions, and record correspondence and requests not to be contacted.
Sources include information you provide, publicly accessible company websites, LinkedIn and other professional profiles, including information obtained through Wiza and ContactOut, and research obtained through Clay. Depending on the record, work-email lookup or verification has also used Findymail, Hunter, Prospeo, Icypeas or ZeroBounce. These services are not used for every contact. You can ask James about the source of your record. A public profile or a verified email address does not itself establish consent to marketing.
For targeted professional-contact research and relevant business correspondence, we rely on legitimate interests where applicable law permits: identifying appropriate fashion-business counterparts and discussing women's woven development and production relationships. This is limited to information relevant to those professional purposes. Marketing contact remains subject to the rules that apply in your country and your right to object.
Services and international processing
Google/Gmail handles business correspondence and Supabase stores business records. OpenAI's Codex/ChatGPT assists with selected research review and drafting. Selected research results and working documents are also kept in local project files.
Our Supabase business database is in the United States. Other services may process information in other countries under their own applicable terms. Our Hong Kong responsibility for these records does not mean that all information is stored only in Hong Kong, or that every service and local copy is stored in the same country.
Research providers may process information on our behalf and may also maintain independent professional-contact datasets. Their independent uses and retention are separate from the records we manage. Our retention policy and an account closure do not automatically remove information from those independent datasets.
Supabase's standard service agreement incorporates a data processing addendum, with Standard Contractual Clauses and a UK Addendum for transfers within their scope. Clay's published data processing agreement also contains transfer clauses for its different data roles. You can read the Supabase terms and Clay terms. These terms have defined coverage and do not establish the arrangements for every other service or independently maintained dataset. Safeguards for other international processing depend on the applicable service terms and data roles. Contact James for information about the arrangements relevant to your record.
Website analytics
This website is hosted on Vercel and includes Google Analytics 4. Analytics can send page visits, interactions and browser or device information to Google, and use cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. These website services are separate from our business contact research database.
Browser controls can limit cookies. Google also provides information onAnalytics cookies and an Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
How long we keep information
Our policy is to review business contact records 12 months after collection, or 12 months after the last meaningful two-way business interaction. Unanswered outreach does not restart that period. Records without a continuing necessary purpose are subject to deletion or anonymisation following review. Contract, order and legally required records are assessed separately.
This is a review policy, not an automatic deletion deadline. It applies to the records we control, including relevant working copies, rather than a provider's independently maintained dataset.
To prevent unwanted contact, we retain the minimum objection record needed: the email address or contact scope, date and reason. It is not used for marketing, and our policy is to review its continuing necessity at least annually.
Stop contact and exercise your rights
You can object to further marketing contact by replying to our email or emailing [email protected]. You do not need to give a reason.
Depending on applicable law, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. Contact James to make a request or raise a concern.
You may complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK, contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). In the EU, you may contact the authority where you live or work, or where the alleged infringement occurred.
